Maple Ridge, B.C., September 20, 2024 – The City of Maple Ridge has launched new interactive dashboards, offering residents an easy-to-use tool for tracking progress on Council’s Strategic Plan.

Residents can explore the dashboards to see how the City is achieving the five strategic priorities outlined in Council's Strategic Plan:

Each strategic priority is supported by performance measures, known as Objectives and Key Results (OKR), implemented as part of the City’s 2024 Business Planning process. The OKR framework was instrumental in shaping the City’s 2024 Strategic Work Plan, developed with input from various City service areas.

“Our Council is committed to being open and accountable to our community by sharing the progress we’re making on our priorities,” said Mayor Ruimy. “The new dashboards give residents the flexibility to see how we’re delivering on key projects and reaching important milestones when it’s convenient for them. It’s a valuable tool to keep the community informed and engaged. I encourage everyone to explore the dashboards and stay connected with the work we’re doing to move Maple Ridge forward.”

Key features of the dashboard include:

  • Regular Updates: Residents can track progress on Council’s priorities quarterly.
  • User-Friendly Interface: The platform offers intuitive navigation through performance measures and specific projects.
  • Comprehensive Reporting: Users can access clear, detailed reports on how the City is meeting its objectives.

The next quarterly update will be provided on October 21, 2024, when the City will also kick off the 2025 Business Planning process with staff presentations that will include an update on 2024 key accomplishments.

To further enhance transparency and accountability, the City is expanding the dashboards to include measures that will provide more insight into the City's performance across a wide range of services and initiatives.
