Celebrate the Night

This year's Celebrate The Night fireworks display will be set off from the City Hall Tower. The raised position will provide for a safe, controlled display and an exceptional view for both event-goers and nearby residents who aren't able to make it to the event. For everyone’s safety, the Maple Ridge Fire Department will supervise a designated safety zone around the Maple Ridge Civic Centre during the fireworks. 

Residents are reminded that fireworks are prohibited in the City without a special events permit.

Yes! Dress in your most creative and spooky best - our first place winner will receive $450 in gift cards and prizes. There will also be 4 runner-up prizes! This year's contest will take place on social media to allow everyone (even those with early bedtimes!) to participate. How will this work? Take your photos at our event, then post on social up to 48 hours afterward to lock in your submission. Check out our costume contest details here. 

We LOVE dogs but due to the very loud noise caused by our fireworks display we ask that you make the right choice for your pet by leaving them at home.

The event begins at 6pm and ends at 8pm.
