The City of Maple Ridge has completed the installation of an asphalt multi-use path along 132 Avenue and Fern Crescent between 232 Street and 236 Street. The project also included upgrades on Balsam Street and 236 Street and the installation of a roundabout at the Fern Crescent and 236 Street intersection.

This project provides active transportation facilities that are separated from traffic and will eventually link to a growing network of multi-use paths.

McElhanney Ltd. designed the project, and Arsalan Construction Ltd. constructed the project. Construction was completed in October of 2023.
