Access to the floating canoe/kayak dock will be closed to allow for the construction of the new replacement dock.
Visitors are asked to use the other dock as needed.
The existing floating dock at Whonnock Lake is being removed and replaced with a new floating dock and boathouse.
Description
The current floating dock adjacent to the Whonnock Lake Centre will be replaced with a new floating dock and boathouse to better support community boating programs.
This project will be completed in two phases. Phase 1 will include the floating dock and boathouse platform and phase 2 will include the boathouse structure.

Status
Construction of Phase 1 is underway, with the installation of new anchors now complete. Construction is anticipated to be complete in the spring of 2026.
Phase 2 is anticipated to be completed in 2026.
