Traffic Alert and Emergency Response

224 Street is closed between 117 Avenue and Callaghan Avenue in both directions while FortisBC crews respond to a gas leak.

Emergency crews are on site. Residents in three nearby apartment buildings have been evacuated, and Emergency Support Services will be provided.

Please avoid the area, use an alternate route, and follow the direction of fire and traffic management crews.

Thank you for your patience. We will share updates as they become available.
