Traffic Advisory - Golden Ears Way & 192 Street (Surrey)

Residents travelling from Maple Ridge toward Surrey are advised of temporary lane reductions at the intersection of Golden Ears Way and 192 Street in Surrey on Saturday, Feb. 14 and Sunday, Feb. 15 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. The work is being completed at the request of CN Rail to conduct emergency track repairs.

While the work is taking place in Surrey, this notice is provided for awareness as it may affect Maple Ridge residents travelling through this route. Drivers should plan extra travel time.

What to Expect
  • Traffic signals will be shut off and movements controlled by Traffic Control Personnel
  • Golden Ears Way reduced to one lane per direction approaching 192 Street
  • Left-turn lanes closed in both directions
  • Westbound right-turn lane closed; right turns will use the through lane under traffic control
  • On 192 Street, single-lane alternating traffic will be in place
  • All lanes reopen after 4 p.m. each day
  • First responder access maintained
