RCMP have advised that the Eastbound lanes of Lougheed Hwy at Laity St. are now open.
Thank you to the Maple Ridge RCMP and emergency services crews for their quick response today, and to everyone for your help keeping the area clear so this situation could be resolved promptly.

Maple Ridge RCMP has advised that both Eastbound lanes of Lougheed Hwy, at Laity St., are currently closed due to a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian which occurred before 10am this morning.
Please avoid the area until further notice to allow emergency crews to do their work. West and Eastbound routes are available on Dewdney Trunk Road or Abernethy Way.
