
Maple Ridge, B.C., Aug 7, 2025 – The City of Maple Ridge is preparing for the annual maintenance shutdown of the Maple Ridge Leisure Centre (MRLC) to complete critical maintenance and facility upgrades.
Key Dates:
- The Fitness Centre, Spin Studio, and Gym will be closed Aug. 18 to 24, reopening Aug. 25
- The Aquatics Area will be closed Aug. 18 to Sept. 9, reopening Sept. 10
- Regular operations for the entire facility will resume Sept. 10
The planned closure allows staff to conduct deep cleaning, complete equipment repairs, and perform vital mechanical and pool system maintenance to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for users year-round.
Maintenance Activities Include:
- Deep cleaning of all multi-use rooms, washrooms, amenities, and common areas
- Routine and annual maintenance of mechanical and pool systems
- Pool filter system maintenance
- Repairs and upgrades to fitness and facility equipment
Memberships will be automatically extended to account for the closure. The community’s patience is appreciated during the closure.
