
Maple Ridge, B.C., Oct. 16, 2025 – As part of its ongoing commitment to transparency and service excellence, the City of Maple Ridge is inviting residents to participate in the 2025 Community Survey, now underway.
Conducted by Earnscliffe Strategies and Leger on behalf of the City, the survey gathers feedback from Maple Ridge residents on key issues and priorities to help inform municipal decision-making.
The survey will be open until November 24, 2025.
What the survey covers
Participants will be asked about their experiences and opinions on a range of topics, including satisfaction with City services, quality of life, and local priorities such as infrastructure, transportation, and community amenities.
Who can take part?
Anyone who lives in Maple Ridge is invited to take part in the survey. The study is open to all residents aged 18 and older and is designed to capture a broad and representative range of community perspectives.
It takes about 15 minutes to complete and can be filled out from any device. Participation is voluntary, confidential, and an important way for you to share your views on City services and community priorities.
How the results will be used
The results of the 2025 Community Survey will help the City better understand resident satisfaction and community key issues and priorities. Feedback will be used to inform business planning, major project delivery, annual budget communications and public engagement strategies. Key findings will be shared publicly once the survey analysis is complete.
Protecting your privacy
Participation is voluntary and confidential. No personal or financial information will be collected. Demographic questions (such as age range or neighbourhood) are asked only to ensure responses reflect the diversity of Maple Ridge residents.
The survey is administered under the authority of Section 26(c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. Data collected will be analyzed in aggregate form only, and all responses will remain anonymous.

About the research
Leger, a professional research firm, has been contracted by the City under Earnscliffe’s direction to undertake the survey and ensure data integrity. Leger’s privacy policy can be found here.
The City conducts community surveys periodically to better understand resident priorities and satisfaction levels, helping to align strategic planning and budget decisions with public expectations, including a Citizen Satisfaction Survey every two years to track trends and measure progress over time.
