MAPLE RIDGE, January 18, 2024...As a community known for its diverse and delicious culinary scene, the City of Maple RIdge is inviting the public to try exciting local restaurant experiences for free with their new Dine Out On Us contest and event. From Jan. 17 to Feb. 29 diners can Enter the Contest HERE for a chance to win one of four $250 gift card prize packs.
With over 80 local and independent restaurants, pubs, cafés, breweries, and bistros, Maple Ridge boasts a vibrant dining scene that adds flavour and vitality to the community. These establishments contribute significantly to the local economy.
The initiative is a collaborative effort by the City of Maple Ridge, Downtown Maple Ridge Business Improvement Association, and the Ridge Meadows Chamber of Commerce to help support local and independent eateries during what is a very slow time of year for many small businesses.
Why Dine Local?
Local and independent food and beverage businesses have a substantial economic impact, creating more than double the economic output of their chain competitors. For every $100 spent at a local restaurant, $68 is recirculated into the local BC economy, benefiting the community in various ways.
These businesses are often family-owned and operated, building strong relationships with their customers and becoming a part of the extended family for many patrons.

Supporting local and independent eateries is easy and rewarding. Whether you choose to dine in, order takeout, or purchase a gift card, your contribution makes a significant impact on the community. Show some extra love by exploring the menu, trying new items, or treating yourself to a delightful dining experience.

From Jan.17 to Feb. 29, 2024, the City of Maple Ridge and its partners invite residents to participate in the Dine Out On Us! Contest. Enter for a chance to win one of four $250 gift card prize packs of 10 cards each to a variety of local eateries.
