Originally conceived as a 5-minute comedy sketch, One-Man Star Wars™ Trilogy has grown into a global phenomenon that has taken Vancouver-based Charles Ross on a lifetime journey, performing his show approximately 4000 times in 14 countries.
One of the original and best of the ‘condensed text’ theatre genre, the concept behind the show is simple: Ross performs the original Star Wars™ Trilogy in just 60 minutes, with no scenery, props, costumes or soundtrack – just his own extraordinary physical, memory and mimicry skills.
As the show became more popular and talked about—featured on the Late Night with Conan O’Brien show in 2020--it soon came to the attention of Lucasfilm, who auditioned him in front of a tough crowd – 3500 avid Star Wars at an official Star Wars™ (Celebration 3 in Indianapolis, Indiana). Ross passed with flying colours and ever since, has been officially licensed to perform his show throughout the world.
