Category 1 to 3 Open Fire Ban in Effect as of 12 p.m. May 7

Following the announcement of a provincial fire ban, Maple Ridge Fire Chief Dave Samson has issued a city-wide fire ban on all Category 1, 2, and 3 open fires effective Thursday, May 7 at 12 p.m. to help reduce wildfire risk and for public safety.
Outdoor Burning Permits are no longer valid as of 12 p.m. on May 7, 2026.
