Public Education

"Providing fire and safety education to children and adults is now considered to be one of the most important services provided by the City" (TNS Canadian Facts).

Public Education programs are coordinated and delivered by the Assistant Chief of Community and Administrative Services, and our firefighters.

Fire Hall Tours

One of the most popular Public Education programs we offer is a tour of Fire Hall No. 1.

Once you complete your request online, your actual tour registration will be confirmed by phone/email. We can only accept requests for community groups based in Maple Ridge.

Please note: As we are a working fire station, the staff may have to leave on short notice. If so, you will be asked to leave the building. If the crews can return quickly they will, if not, another date will be arranged.

We also offer custom programs for other community and service groups.
