Masks Mandatory In Indoor Public Spaces
As of August 25 and by order of the BC Public Health Officer, people 12 and older must wear masks* in all indoor public spaces throughout BC, regardless of vaccination status. Read the "Masks Mandatory" tab on our Registration Page for full details.
Registered Pool Activities
Individual Public Swim | Regular Admission Fees Apply
You will have access to the entire pool to have some fun or practice your swimming skills! No equipment will be available for use. You are welcome to bring your own for use in the pool. Physical distancing will be required between you and other registrants. All participants must be registered prior to entry.
Group Public Swim | $22 Per Group
Registrants will have exclusive use of half the pool to have some fun or practice your swimming skills! No equipment will be available for use. You are welcome to bring your own for use in the pool. Maximum 10 participants residing in the same household only.
Length Swim | Regular Admission Fees Apply
Lanes will be double lanes with different lanes for various speeds. You are welcome to bring your own kickboard or pull-buoy.
Due to COVID-19, all drop-in programs and activities require registration at this time. Examples at Hammond Outdoor Pool include Aqua Fitness, Public Swim and Length Swim.
How to Register
To register for a Fitness Centre timeslot please visit our registration website or call 604-467-7422.
Anyone looking to register for a timeslot must have a Perfect Mind account. If you do not have one you can set one up by visiting our registration website or by calling 604-467-7422.
- Arrive to your timeslot already showered and with your swim attire under your street clothes. Change space is extremely limited before and after your timeslot. COVID-19 occupancy limits apply.
- 1 Spectator is permitted per Lesson participant. No other spectators permitted at this time.
- Limited cubbies available - arrive with as few belongings as possible.
- Bring a filled water bottle from home - there is currently no access to drinking fountains.
- From downtown Maple Ridge, go west on Lougheed Hwy.
- Turn left on 207 St.
- Turn right on Westfield Ave.
- Turn right on 206 St., beside Hammond Community Centre.
As of March 17, 2020 all memberships were frozen as the MRLC shut down due to COVID-19. Members have the option to unfreeze their account or continue paying single admission pay as you go with their account being frozen.
Once a membership pass holder has chosen to unfreeze their account, they cannot re-freeze it.
You will be able to access your timeslot fifteen minutes past the start time; however, patrons that arrive after the 15 minutes will be denied entrance and forfeit their registration.
Membership vs. Drop-in Admission Rates
Term memberships are valid at Hammond Outdoor Pool for activities that cost the regular Hammond Outdoor Pool admission rate.
Aqua Fitness and Group Swims have a separate rate and are not included in our term memberships.
Outdoor Admission Rates
Patrons may choose to keep their account frozen and pay-as-they-go. Activities will cost our regular admission rates unless otherwise stated. Regular outdoor admission rates are below:
- Drop In – Adult : $3.03
- Drop In – Child : $1.76
- Drop In - Infant/Toddler : $0.00
- Drop In – Senior : $2.37
- Drop In – Youth : $2.37
- Group Public Swim: $14.00
