
Maple Ridge, B.C., August 12, 2025 – From eclectic entertainment by renowned musical talent to ziplines and rock climbing, families, residents and visitors alike can look forward to a full day of fun at the Our Neck of the Woods festival in downtown Maple Ridge on Saturday Sept. 6.
The second annual celebration of Maple Ridge will bring entertainers, food, and adventure to a pedestrian-friendly space spanning Memorial Peace Park, 224 Street, and McIntosh Avenue. Guests can enjoy events and activities that will take place across three zones:
- Family Zone with Zipline - 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. - Guests can explore freely through beautiful downtown Maple Ridge in our Car-Free Day Party presented by TransLink with food trucks and fun all the way down 224 Street. The Happy Camper Fun Park will get young ones moving with rock climbing, axe throwing and a bounce castle with an 18-foot slide. Thrill-seekers can race through the skies with the Soar Over Maple Ridge Zipline presented by Meadowridge School in support of the Alouette River Management Society. This three-storey, 150-foot-long dual zipline on McIntosh Street is available by “pay what you can” donation.
- Activity Zone with Alouette Stage - 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. - Performances by Kate Yahn, Zach Saunders, and JIMI will get guests energized as they socialize and roam the licensed park area or browse local treasures in the Shop Maple Ridge Market presented by the Downtown Maple Ridge Business Improvement Association. Festivalgoers can also stop by the City merch stand for a souvenir hoodie, tee, or hat to remember their epic day out.
- Main Stage Zone - 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. - Performances by Danielle Ryan, Hey Ocean, Jojo Mason, and Sam Roberts Band will get crowds dancing and swaying at the Golden Ears Stage presented by The City of Maple Ridge. This all-ages licensed area will offer food trucks and a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for purchase. An accessible viewing area with chairs will be available at the bandstand for those who require it. Guests looking to upgrade their festival experience can stop by the Outpost Social Corner presented by BCLC and Chances Maple Ridge. This exclusive 19+ side stage lounge offers an enhanced viewing experience with a dedicated enclosed space, private bar and restroom. Tickets will be available for purchase prior to and during the event on Eventbrite or MapleRidge.ca/OurNeckoftheWoods.

Hey Ocean - For two decades, Canadian indie favourites, Hey Ocean! have been bringing their energetic brand of west coast pop to audiences across the country and beyond. The Juno-nominated trio consisting of David Beckingham, Ashleigh Ball, and David Vertesi were at the forefront of the emerging Vancouver DIY music scene in the 2010s.
Danielle Ryan – Danielle Ryan is a rising country music singer-songwriter from Pitt Meadows, BC, known for her authentic blend of traditional country and contemporary sounds. In 2022, she released her debut EP, showcasing her distinctive voice and songwriting talent. Her single “Lone Cowboy,” released in March received 250,000 streams in the first two weeks.
