How will you join in?
Every June, communities across Canada celebrate June is Recreation and Parks month to promote the importance of recreation and parks in enhancing the well-being and quality of life for individuals and communities. Throughout the month of June we will offer ways to move, explore and enjoy Maple Ridge’s recreation and parks programs, outdoor parks, green spaces, and places.
May 30-June 5
It is GoByBike Week and we want to inspire you to cycle in your community. We will be sharing trails, pump tracks, spin classes and more on social channels to showcase all the different ways you can have fun on a bike.
June 1-7
We celebrate the seniors in our community and highlight on our social channels community activities available honour the week.
June 6
A day when the community is encouraged to explore their neighbourhood trails.
June 6
A day where we hope you are inspired to participate in a health and/or fitness activity. Get outside, try a class, go for swim, and find a way to enjoy yourself.
June 8-14
Follow along on our social channels as we feature trails, playgrounds, and early years programs that are inclusive to our community.
June 15-21
Follow along on our social channels as we feature parks, trails, and outdoor beauty to inspire you to discover somewhere new.
June 22-30
Follow along on our social channels as we feature spaces where you can come together with community.
Your Passport
Pick up a passport at Maple Ridge Leisure Centre or Albion Community Centre starting June 3 or download a digital version to print yourself. Complete the activities and turn in to our facilities to be entered into prize draws at the end of the month.

We provide all the gear, so just come ready to learn and enjoy time together. Plus, there will be tips, demonstrations, and exciting giveaways throughout the day!
