Maple Ridge, B.C., Sept. 4, 2025 – The City of Maple Ridge is inviting residents and visitors to join the celebration this Saturday, Sept. 6, as Memorial Peace Park transforms into the region’s biggest street festival, Our Neck of the Woods

Running rain or shine from 2 to 10:30 p.m., the free festival features live music from award-winning artists, family-friendly attractions, food trucks, markets and more.

Guests can soar above McIntosh Avenue on a zipline, explore family activities, discover local vendors, and enjoy spacious licensed areas—all while taking in seven live performances across two stages. Headliners include Juno Award-winning Sam Roberts Band, Juno-nominated Hey Ocean, country star Jojo Mason, and local favourite Danielle Ryan, who began her music career in Maple Ridge.

Our Neck of the Woods captures the dynamic spirit of our city with experiences for everyone,” said Mayor Dan Ruimy. “As one of the region’s premier new events, we’re proud to share Maple Ridge’s bold energy and strong sense of community with both residents and visitors.”

Festival Highlights:

  • Free Live Performances: Sam Roberts Band, Jojo Mason, Hey Ocean, and local talent Danielle Ryan headline the festival on the Golden Ears Stage (6 to 10:30 p.m.), following performances from Zach Saunders, Kate Yahn, and Jimi on the Alouette Stage (2 to 10:30 p.m.)
  • 150-Foot Zipline: Race through the skies of McIntosh Avenue on the Soar Over Maple Ridge zipline presented by Meadowridge School in support of the Alouette River Management Society, which takes riders on a three-storey-high adventure. “Pay what you can” cash or card donations accepted.
  • Family Fun: Enjoy activities like rock climbing, junior axe throwing, and an 18-foot bouncy slide at the Happy Camper Fun Park (2 to 6 p.m.)
  • Food and Drink: Indulge in unique food trucks or visit downtown eateries throughout the TransLink Car Free Day Party. Try the refreshing new Our Neck of the Woods IPA in our all-ages licensed Alouette Zone and Main Stage Zone, which also offer non-alcoholic drinks.
