
Maple Ridge, B.C., August 11, 2025 – Environment Canada has issued a Heat Warning currently in effect for the City of Maple Ridge. This warning is expected to last from Monday, August 11, through Tuesday, August 12. We anticipate hot temperatures with daytime highs around 33⁰C and overnight lows near 17⁰C.
To support the needs of vulnerable community members during this hot weather, the City of Maple Ridge will be opening a temporary emergency cooling centre at The Greg Moore Youth Centre. The centre will be supported by members of the City’s Recreation Services Team and will have a static security guard provided by Westridge Security.

- Monday 11th August (11am – 7pm)
- Tuesday 12th August (11am – 7pm)
