Maple Ridge, B.C., Sept. 5, 2025 – Calling all dog lovers! The City of Maple Ridge is inviting Maple Ridge residents to make a splash at the City’s first-ever ‘Pups in the Pool’ at Hammond Outdoor Pool on Tuesday, Sept. 9, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The event takes place after the last public swim, capping off a successful summer season where the City offered free public drop-in swimming for Maple Ridge residents.

“I’m looking forward to seeing our community come together for this unique event,” said Mayor Dan Ruimy. “This summer we opened the pool for free drop-ins to help families stay active and connected as part of our ongoing commitment to removing barriers and building an engaged, healthy community. ‘Pups in the Pool’ Night is the perfect way to wrap up the season—with laughter, splashes, and plenty of wagging tails. It’s a celebration of the fun we’ve shared all summer long.”
