Property Owners can apply for a leak adjustment credit for excess water loss resulting from a private leak. To be eligible for a leak adjustment you must have repaired the leak within 30 days following discovery of the leak and provide proof of the leak repair (receipts for any materials or services related to that repair).
Upon receipt of your request, the City will adjust the amount billed for water consumption for a maximum of the previous two quarterly bills plus the current quarter. The adjustment will be a credit of 50% of the cost of consumption attributed to the leak, based on normal consumption preceding the leak. The entire leak adjustment process can take approximately 90 days to complete.
