Maple Ridge is participating in the Climate-Friendly Homes Tour on Saturday, April 26, 2025. This event provides an opportunity for people to talk with homeowners showcasing their homes who have implemented new technologies and sustainable living practices in their own homes making their home warmer in winter, cooler in summer, and more affordable year-round. How are they doing it? Perhaps from super-efficient heating and cooling systems. Maybe excellent insulation with modern windows and doors. Or they use the sun to full advantage and even generate their own electricity with solar panels.
The tour is coordinated by the Community Energy Association with funding from BC Hydro.
