Property Tax rates are used to determine how much property tax you pay based on the assessed value of your property. Rates are per $1000. Multiple the assessed taxable value(found on your BC Assessment notice) by the municipal tax rate (mill rate) for the applicable property class. Each property is also subject to applicable flat rate charges for various services. Properties with an assessed value over 3 million are subject to the additional School Tax. The class of a property is determined by BC Assessment.
