We are ready to connect with the youth in our community! For over 20 years, Youth Services has provided safe, fun and supervised recreation for youth 13Y-18Y along with select opportunities for preteens 10Y-12Y.

What We Offer

We currently offer drop-in and registered programming primarily at the Greg Moore Youth Centre (11925 Haney Place) and Albion Community Centre (24165 104 Ave).

There's something for everyone!

Whether you're interested rock climbing/bouldering, skateboarding, scootering, basketball, foosball, ping pong, billiards, air hockey, leadership/personal development, board games, Nintendo Switch or PS5... we are here to connect with YOUth!

Youth Lounge	Ping pong, billiards, foosball, games, music room (with instruments), and more!	FREE
Active Area	Open Gym for many sports (Basketball, indoor Soccer etc..) bouldering wall. Tues / Thurs / Fri	FREE (Waiver Required)
Other Activities	Computer lab, Nintendo Switch, Playstation 5, teaching kitchen, concession	FREE
Culinary Night	Thursdays at 6:00 PM where youth (12Y-18Y) will learn to prep, cook and eat a new meal each week. Become more confident in the kitchen while fostering new connections! Culinary Night is run by staff in partnership with the Friends in Need Food Bank, which donates food for Culinary Night on a weekly basis.	FREE
Skateboarding & Scootering	Skate/Scooter at our indoor park. Mon / Wed / Sat / Sun Helmets are required while skateboarding or scootering. Bring your own helmet or rent one for just $1!	$4.10 + tax (Waiver Required)

Drop-In Basketball	Join us every Friday in the c̓əsqənelə Elementary Gymnasium from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM for drop-in basketball! All experience levels welcome.	FREE

Mentorship Program

Accepting Resumes for Spring/Summer 2024!

Volunteer at the Thomas Haney Action Park and/or in neighbourhood parks this upcoming spring! Volunteer Mentors will be working directly with City of Maple Ridge Youth Staff. This opportunity can provide youth with leadership skills that can transfer to any future job, volunteer hours which can be used for graduation, build self-confidence interacting with a various age groups, responsibility, creating ownership...and so much more. A short interview process is required prior to being accepted into the program.
