Parks, Recreation & Culture offers both drop-in and registered programs which can be found in our Parks, Recreation & Culture Guide. Choose to participate on your own or in a class or group setting. Our fitness centre is full equipped and wheelchair accessible.
Parks, Recreation & Culture offers a variety of drop-in gymnasium programs at the Maple Ridge Leisure Centre. Indoor sports include basketball, soccer, volleyball, table tennis and more.
Multi-Sport Drop-In Sessions
Parent & Child Playtime 0Y - 5Y (Not available on stat holidays) Youth Gym 13Y - 18Y Open Gym 11Y+. Sessions are drop-in and not intended for team practices.
Children aged 6Y - 10Y are welcome to join the Open Gym/MultiSport 11Y+ sessions, but must be fully supervised by a parent/guardian. Parent and child admission is required. Open Gym sessions are the perfect time for parents/guardians to participate too, so be sure to jump off the sidelines and join your kids in play!

Please sign-in and pay drop-in admission prior to entering the gym. Sign-in opens 30 minutes prior to the start of the session.
Some sports require you to bring your own equipment:
Badminton - Bring your own racquet & birdies.
Basketball - Bring your own ball.
Ball Hockey - Bring your own composite/plastic blade stick. No tapped or wood blades. Players required to wear hockey gloves and shin guards.
Pickleball - Bring your own paddle and balls.
Most sports or open/drop-in gym times are unsupervised or have a volunteer leader. All participants must follow facility rules, play with sportsmanship and help set-up/take-down equipment within scheduled times.
At times, programs share gym space; please respect scheduled times and be courteous to other gym programs and users.
Bring a white and dark t-shirt to sport sessions to designate teams.
