1. How do I apply?

You must apply online. We are located next to a public library if you need access to a computer to submit your application.  

2. What kind of jobs are available?

The City has various of jobs including administrative, operational, technical, professional, and leadership roles. The City has a variety of permanent, temporary, and auxiliary positions. 

3. If a job posting is closed and reposted at a later date, do I need to reapply to be considered?

Yes, if the job posting has a different competition number, you must submit your application again to be considered.  

4. Can I withdraw my application?

Yes, please email hrenquiries@mapleridge.ca to have your application withdrawn. 

5. What If I missed the submission deadline?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept late applications. 

6. How can I change my application?

You can resubmit application by applying online again.  

7. When will I be contacted?

Only applicants who are being considered for an interview will be contacted.  

8. How do I know if you received my application?

After submitting your application, you will receive a thank you message on the last screen  

9. What types of background checks are conducted?

These vary depending on the position, but may include references, driving records, police information checks, and security clearances.
