Traffic Impacts for Filming on Golden Ears Way on April 7
Sunday, April 7, intermittent closures will be conducted for a film production after the successful stress test operation on March 24. After each 3-5 minute traffic control, production will reset and allow traffic to move for upwards of 10 minutes.
Intermittent Closures will take place at the following locations between 7:00 AM-1:00 PM:
- Location 1: North Bound traffic at the base of the Golden Ears Bridge entering 113B exit in tandem with a lock up of the 113B Avenue overpass.
- Location 2: South Bound traffic at Golden Ears Way right after the onramp from Lougheed.
After Golden Ears Way filming completes, Intermittent Traffic Controls will take place at the Intersection of Dunn Avenue at Meadow Place from 2:00 PM-8:00 PM with detours supported by RCMP.
- Location 3: Dunn Avenue at Meadow Place (This has no impact to Golden Ears Way).
