When creating a letter to submit for the Council's consideration, please include your daytime contact information. Unless you indicate otherwise, your letter may be included on a public Council agenda and will become public information.
The Mayor is pleased to provide greetings to Maple Ridge residents celebrating a birthday of 75 years and up, as well as to Maple Ridge couples celebrating an anniversary starting at the 40th. Greetings are issued in five-year increments, e.g., 75, 80, 85, etc. for birthdays or 40, 45, 50, etc. for anniversaries.
You can submit your request via email, or by phone (604) 467-7483, by providing the following information:
- name of celebrant(s) (as you would like it to appear on Certificate)
- address of celebrant(s)
- mailing address for certificate (if different from address of celebrant)
- occasion
- date of birthday or anniversary
- number of years celebrating
- contact name
- contact telephone / email
The Mayor's Office receives numerous invitations to various events in and around Maple Ridge.
Please provide details on the specific role you would like the Mayor to play at your event and a schedule of events. On certain occasions, the acting Mayor or a member of the Council may represent the Mayor at events.
Invitations for the Mayor to attend your function can be sent to the Mayor's Office, providing the following details:
- name of your organization
- name of event
- nature of event
- date and time of event
- location of event
- contact person and contact information
- if the invitation is open to Council members
The Mayor's Office is pleased to provide a Letter of Welcome for your souvenir, promotional or event program for events taking place in Maple Ridge.
With your request, provide the following details:
- name of your organization
- name of event
- date of event
- location of event
- nature of event
- contact person
- telephone / email of contact person
To schedule a meeting with the Mayor, please submit your request in writing by mail or email, including
- the subject matter/issue that you wish to discuss
- the names of the individuals attending the meeting
- a contact person with a relevant return address and phone number.
