Process


 The application process for the Maple Ridge Fire Department has seven (7) different stages:

Application Submission & Review

Entry Level Testing – Fire Knowledge Test

September 5, 1900 hours

  • Stage 3 –

Fire Skills Test

September 8, 0800 – 1700 hours

  • Stage 4 –

Interview, Reference Checks

September 12 – September 19

  • Stage 5 –

Conditional Offer

  • Stage 6 –

Pre-Training Preparation

  • Stage 7 –

Training

September 26 – November 24


Fire Knowledge Test, Fire Skills Test, and Interviews will take place at Fire Hall No. 1.

Applicants will be notified by email at every stage if they will be moving on to the next stage.  It is the candidate's responsibility to ensure that they regularly check their email account for updates.
