Highlights September 10

Here’s the agenda highlights for Council’s Tuesday meetings.

Workshop at 11:00 am in Council Chambers

Council will hear presentations on the following matters:

  • Housing Objectives and Key Results.
  • Development Approval Concierge Service.
Public Hearing at 7:00 pm in Council Chambers

Council will hear public feedback on a rezoning application for a property located at 23613 132 Avenue to rezone the subject property from RS-2 (Single Detached Suburban Residential) to RM-1 (Low Density Townhouse Residential), to permit future construction of 18 townhouses.

Council Meeting following the Public Hearing in Council Chambers

Council will start the meeting with a presentation honouring the accomplishments of hometown athletes at the 2024 Maple Ridge BC Summer Games.

Council will then consider the following matters:

  • Housekeeping amendments to Zoning Bylaw 7600-2019.
  • Rezoning at 24177 112 Avenue to allow future subdivision for 4 lots and conservation lands.
  • Rezoning at 25443 Bosonworth Avenue to permit a future two lot subdivision.
  • Subdivision of land in the Agricultural Land Reserve at 12787 256 Street.
  • Development Permit at 23213 Lougheed Highway.
  • 2024 Housing Needs Report update.
  • Cottonwood Landfill Slope Stability budget and scope of work increase.
  • BC Summer Games Debrief.

A Notice of Motion has been tabled and will be considered by Council.
