  1. Sharing Joy: Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Art Studio Tour Exhibition

    April 17, 2021, 11:00 AM - June 26, 2021, 4:00 PM
    @
    The ACT Art Gallery

For over 20 years, the Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Art Studio Tour has welcomed more than 1,500 visitors annually into dozens of open artist studios across the region, showcasing a wealth of artistic success. This season, in a ‘pandemic pivot’, The ACT opened its doors to allow patrons to continue connect with Art Studio Tour artists. The Art Studio Tour artists translated the theme, ‘Sharing Joy’, through the language of their art, in the hopes of sharing their joy with the community. ‘Sharing Joy’ hopes to remind patrons that art brings joy not only to the beholder, but also to the artists. This artistic connection often invokes perceptions and memories, inspires action, or makes a place or activity more enjoyable.
