  1. Haney Farmers Market Great Zucchini Race!

    Our infamous annual Great Zuchini Race is back! Come for this hugely fun event where we turn zucchinis into decorated mini go-karts and race them down our big ramp! Lunch options: Beaf's BBQ. Amazing Foods has chai and samosas. Hibiscus serves up Jamaican patties. Vick and Jas's Kitchen has vegetarian curries and drinks or grab a ham and cheese from Bread Affair. Warm weather has moved the crops along and they are almost up to their regular season now. Blueberries are here and corn is coming soon! Sparkes Corn Barn and Maan Farms will have it for sale just as soon as it's ready. Paula Justus performs in the Cafe Corner. Also happening this week in the park: "Be not afraid of greatness"! On July 20, 21, 22 this week, the 12th Annual Bard in the Bandstand performs 12th Night! Preshow entertainment at 6:30pm, curtain at 8pm. Bring a chair, blanket, and donation for the Food Bank. The Hunger Management food truck will be onsite.
