About half of this 27-acre site is fully developed. Park features include picnic facilities, equestrian and walking trails and scenic natural areas.
The Rivers Heritage Centre, managed by the Alouette River Management Society (ARMS), is located on the grounds of the Alouette Correctional Facility and can be accessed through Allco Park. ARMS is a broad-based and non-profit organization committed to the protection and enhancement of the Alouette River watershed and beyond through advocacy, education and coordination. ARMS plays a prominent advocacy role in the community and provides school and community educational opportunities.
