Construction Alert

210 Construction Update

Effective immediately, 210 Street is closed from 128 Avenue to 132 Avenue (Old Dewdney Trunk Road) from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm weekdays until June 5, 2020. This work is for a storm sewer project to improve the road shoulder stability. After the storm sewer works are completed the road will be resurfaced. We know this is a popular cutoff in the commute for people travelling east and west to and from the Pitt River Bridge. You will need to use and alternate route to access the Lougheed Highway. For people who want to access Jerry Sulina Park, you can get access on 132 Avenue (Old Dewdney) at the north end of 210 Street by approaching eastbound. Residents who live on this stretch of road can call Operations at 604-463-9581 or email operations@mapleridge.ca. We apologize for the inconvenience that this will cause for some commutes and we ask for your patience as we complete this essential work. Please follow the instructions of any traffic personnel around the site to protect worker safety.
