Learning From Our Stories: How We Can Treat Our Elderly With More Care and Respect - CANCELLED

Tuesday, March 24, 2020

Providing care to seniors can be a highly rewarding activity. Many seniors have much to teach us about enduring change and handling life’s adversities. Even if an individual’s memory or hearing is failing, our elders have great wisdom to impart. How can we as family and caregivers bring dignity and respect into every interaction? Anna Hudson, BSW, MA, Coordinator for the Victoria Community Response Network, shares, from both professional and personal perspectives, how can we learn and benefit from our own stories and apply that knowledge in caring for and treating the elderly. Hosted by The Ridge Meadows Community Response Network (Elder Abuse Prevention Committee) of the Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Katzie, Seniors Network.
