Illuminate Photo Contest Rules

Join us as we Illuminate Maple Ridge! Come to downtown Maple Ridge and enjoy the spirit of the holidays with participating businesses on the Candy Cane Tour all decked for the season. Shop local and take part in our photo contest with a chance to win some fantastic prizes.

Enter to Win Prizes While Shopping Local

Residents and visitors are invited to take part in the Candy Cane Tour by visiting one or more of the businesses that received a $1000 grant from the City to create a holiday display. For a chance to win one of ten $100 gift card prizes, take a picture at a participating business with their storefront decorations and the location clearly visible, then post it on social media following the instructions below. The more photos posted, the higher the chance of winning. The special gift card prizes can be redeemable at any of the Candy Cane Tour businesses.

How to Enter

Contest runs December 2, 2023 to January 5, 2024

Take a picture with the beautiful decorations at one of the Candy Cane Tour locations, making sure the location is visible in your photo.
Post your picture on social media using #illuminatemapleridge and @yourmapleridge and tag the business. The more pictures you snap and post, the better your chances you have to win a prize!

We are illuminating Maple Ridge!

Join us as we light up on December 2.

On December 2, the six-storey City Hall office tower with string lights, floodlights, and vibrant colour displays will be lit up. The 20 businesses that are part of the Candy Cane Tour will have their displays complete with holiday cheer for you to enjoy.
