Ahmed Yousef

Councillor Yousef is a husband, father, business professional, consensus builder, volunteer, car enthusiast, and a lover of democracy. His focus is on policies that affect everyday things like feeling safe on the streets, shopping locally, creating local employment, more recreational opportunities, and respecting taxpayers’ pocketbooks. 

Councillor Yousef has been active in the community since 2010 volunteering for Scouts Canada, Hope for Freedom Mat Program and Operation Red Nose. He currently serves on the boards of KidSport, the Friends in Need Food Bank, the Ridge Meadows Climate Hub, and the Ridge Meadows South Asian Cultural Society. 

Councillor Yousef is a proud lifetime member of the Alouette River Management Society. He currently serves on the Metro Vancouver Liquid Waste Committee, and as Council liaison for the Agricultural Advisory Committee, Municipal Advisory Committee on Accessibility and Inclusiveness, and Kanaka Education and Environment Partnership Society (KEEPS).
