Youth Outreach Initiative

Youth Outreach Page Header
Youth Services is centered on the concept of the Youth Outreach Initiative (YOI). Through the YOI, Youth Services provides fun and inspiring programs because youth have a direct say in what is offered. As a participant youth are encouraged to make decisions about the activities they want to do. With the support of the Youth Services staff, youth will learn to plan, develop and implement programs and activities based on their own interests and choices. Youth who have participated have found that the learning process that takes place during program preparation is just as fun and rewarding as the programs themselves.
