Upcoming Update for Fall Drop-In Programs

Since reopening our facilities and due to COVID-19, all drop-in programs have required registration. Examples include drop-in use of the Fitness Centre, Group Fitness classes, Gymnasium, etc. Starting in October*, registration for fall drop-in programs will be on a month-by-month basis. Registration for drop-in activities will open at 8:00 AM on the third Sunday of the previous month (ie, the month that precedes your drop-in program of choice). The online display and registration dates for each month are laid out below.  

October Drop-In Programs:

November Drop-In Programs:

*September Programs will continue to run on a 1 week prior registration date. If you have any questions, please contact us at 604-467-7422 or by email. Registration for drop-in programs will be required until recommendations from the health authorities change.

Let's Have a Safe Summer

We believe that community engagement and recreation are more important now than ever for our physical and mental health. We think that connecting with each other and experiencing joy while doing the things we love is key to happiness! We also believe in going above and beyond for your safety.

That’s why our summer programs will look a little different than in the past. All our programs have undergone risk assessments and, as a result, new safety measures and procedures have been put in place to keep participants safe. Once you’ve registered, you will receive information from our program team via email about the safety measures and procedures relevant to your program.

Our team will continue to monitor health authority recommendations and will notify participants of any program changes, delays or cancellations. Our team is committed to helping you have the best summer possible and we would be happy to discuss any of your questions surrounding our summer programming or new safety procedures.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

IF WE CANCEL A PROGRAM - A full refund will be processed or
full credit will be applied to your Customer Account.

CUSTOMER REFUND REQUESTS - Refunds will be issued prior
to the start date of the second class and will be pro-rated. Nonattendance without notification is not accepted as a refund
request. Single day programs must give 24 hours notice or no refund will be issued.

MEDICAL REFUND REQUESTS - Due to COVID-19, we have temporarily waived the necessity of a doctor’s note. Those who must withdraw from a multi-day program for medical reasons can do so without the note and need only inform City staff prior to the end of their multi-day program. Likewise, for single day camps, we will provide refunds without a doctor’s note should your child show symptoms the morning of camp. Please notify Registration as soon as possible. 

CLASS TRANSFER POLICY - A class transfer may be possible
based on availability, prior to the start of the second class. If
there is no space available in the requested class, a refund will
be processed in accordance with the Refund Policy.
