  1. Golden Ears Writers and Readers Festival

    Join us Sunday, October 1st from 10:30am to 3:30pm at The ACT Maple Ridge for a festival celebrating the written word. Writers and readers are invited to an all-day community event complete with workshops, manuscript evaluations, and a lively discussion about reading and Canadian authors over afternoon tea. There is no charge for most of the events. Afternoon Tea tickets will be available for $5 through The ACT. This event is suitable for teens and adults.

  2. Culture Days - Toys and Childhood Exhibition

  3. Culture Days - Xwalacktun (Rick Harry)

    Coast Salish artist, Xwalacktun, will show examples of his stunning carving while engaging the public in a demonstration. In addition to his work as a commissioned artist, Xwalactun has worked as a cultural instructor in many school districts throughout the Lower Mainland, including Maple Ridge. “I create native art with a connection to the past, present and future like our ancestors did.” Xwalactun
