Working in partnership with the Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows Parks & Leisure Services Commission, the Arts Council is pleased to present 122 arts, crafts, and dance classes for the learning enjoyment for all ages, 0 to 100 years. Arts and Crafts Programs [PDF, 650KB]
Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Arts Council
The
Arts Council strives to advance arts and culture at the community level through:
- arts education
- special events: such as, our Annual Family Arts Fair
- Voice of the Arts newsletter
- co-sponsoring activities with many partners in the community.
The Arts Council Office is a resource and networking centre where staff and volunteers play a vital role creating opportunities for individuals of all abilities; encouraging them to participate/get involved in the extensive, creative life of our community.
Maple Ridge Art Gallery
This volunteer-run gallery
Art Gallery in the heart of downtown Maple Ridge offers 13 different shows each year, with works by professional and amateur artists from Maple Ridge and beyond. The gallery strives to present excellence and diversity, with annual highlights including a special ethnic exhibit each Christmas and a display of the artwork of talented students from local schools. The gallery also sponsors workshops in Arts education, and holds a number of special events throughout the year.
