SEE-IT Online Performance Report

Reporting out to citizens, businesses, community groups, and partners is one of the ways the District is accountable to taxpayers.

SEE-IT is a visual progress report based on the District's Corporate Strategic Plan, a policy that envisions the community's future and provides strategies for getting us there. The tool allows you to view over 60 scorecards to see how we're doing in relation to goals, and to drill down into more detail to assess our actions, view and listen to multi-media presentations, and download content. The tool is a work in progress, and we will continue to enhance the content. Your feedback is requested and appreciated. Please review this Tutorial to make your experience as smooth as possible.

The SEE-IT tool was developed in response to community input received in a public performance reporting workshop held in 2008. The District of Maple Ridge led a group of citizens through an exercise to help identify how the District can demonstrate how it is performing in the numerous business areas it is responsible for. Maple Ridge has been a leader in business planning practices and wanted to make further improvements in its procedures by ensuring performance reports meet the needs of community members.

Progress Report

A selection of the performance reports is included in the Progress Report [PDF, 312KB] section of the Annual Report, a print-format document. The full Annual Report is available under the Budget and Financial Reports web page, and includes financial statements.

Citizen Surveys

The District surveys our citizens every three years to obtain their views on strategic direction, and on their satisfaction with Municipal services. The surveys provide valuable citizen input into both strategic planning and service delivery assessment.

Student Project

The District of Maple Ridge is always looking for ways to engage with the public to enhance our mutual understanding. Funded in part by the Government Trailblazer Program of the Center on Government Performance, part of the National Center for Civic Innovation, the District is soliciting feedback from students to ensure our performance reports are informative.
