The Communications Department provides advice and assistance to Council and staff in the or­ganization. The department's activities include dis­semi­nating timely and accurate information, ensuring cus­tomers and employees have ample opportunities for input/ participation, and developing communica­tions strategies for specific issues. The department is also responsible for assisting with the advertising and promotion of District programs and events and creat­ing and supporting a consistent identity for communications.
