Oversees the Taxation area within the Finance Department and is responsible for the compilation and collection of taxes as well as the collection of all other municipal revenues. Also carries out the duties of Municipal Collector as defined in the Local Government Act and Community Charter.
As a member of the Finance Department Management team works on cross functional goals and develops departmental strategies, policies, procedures and internal controls and provides advice and makes recommendations to the Corporate Management Team.
