Keeping the community, its citizens and visitors safe, is an important priority in Maple Ridge. Together, agencies like the police, fire, ambulance, and search and rescue work hard to ensure that this goal is met. Maple Ridge has an outstanding emergency response system that includes an Emergency Operations Centre and Emergency Social Services that can be activated in the event of a serious incident such as flood, fire or earthquake.
