⚠️🚗Traffic Impacts for Golden Ears Way Film Testing on March 24
On Sunday, March 24, traffic control activities will be conducted as a stress test for an upcoming film production with oversight being provided by the City. A helicopter will be used to provide a bird eye’s view of the traffic impacts. After each traffic impact, production will reset and allow traffic to move for upwards of 10 minutes.
Intermittent Closures will take place at the following locations:
Location 1: North Bound traffic on Golden Ears Way at Base of Golden Ears Bridge. 11:00 AM to 12:00PM: 3-5 minute traffic control lock ups of North Bound traffic at the base of the Golden Ears Bridge entering 113B exit in tandem with a lock up of the 113b Avenue overpass.
Location 2: Southbound traffic on Golden Ears Way just before the on-ramp of Golden Ears Way. 12:00 PM to 01:00PM: 3-5 minute traffic control lock ups of South Bound traffic at Golden Ears Way right after the onramp from Lougheed.
There will be impacts to traffic during this time. Please plan accordingly and consider an alternate route if possible. We appreciate your patience with any inconveniences.
